Welcome to our all-new ‘Spotlight Series’ where we’re going to be bringing you an in-depth look at some of our most popular spaces here at Ellerslie Event Centre.

Today, we’re shining a light on Pakuranga Hunt – known for it’s super special ceiling (trust us, you’ll see!)

A gold-standard event space with views to match.

Located on level two of the Ellerslie Stand, Pakuranga Hunt has views from all angles overlooking the racecourse on one side and the parade ring on the other. Not to mention an impressive golden chandeliered ceiling – it looks GREAT in photos.

If you are looking for a room for up to 150 people, Pakuranga Hunt should be on your “must consider” list. It’s a unique room best suited to breakfasts, luncheons, dinners, weddings for up to 120 guests or cocktail parties for up to 150 guests.

Named after New Zealand’s oldest Hunt Club which was established in 1874, Pakuranga Hunt, with its ornate high ceiling and abundant natural light, has something quite special about it. Add to that the picturesque views of Ellerslie’s gardens and racecourse and you’re on to a winner.
